Dear Parents and Campers,

Welcome & thank you for considering our Creative Kidz “Arts & Academics” Camp. We have a full program planned each day, with weekly themes, arts & crafts, tutoring and tons of fun physical and educational activities.

As you may have already noticed, we do things differently than some other summer camps.  If you are looking for a camp where the kids go, go, go five days a week, please STOP reading now.

On the other hand, if you are searching for days filled with new friends, new ideas, fun and learning “all rolled into one”, you have come to the right place. Sure, it’s summer vacation, but we at McCauley Family Learning Center & Creative Kidz, believe that learning should not end just because a child is not in a classroom.

Our summer camp is about “hands on learning”.   Our methods engage, inspire, and promote curiosity in our kids. Our camp instructors are trained in these methods.

Each day is spent exploring and learning about the things that make up our world. We use art, dance, language, creative dramatics, music, and physical education to enrich our camper’s minds and to bring out their creative spirit.  While most of their day is spent in other activities, for one hour per day, campers Pre K through grade 6, are in a more structured setting as they are tutored, on grade level, insuring that academic skills stay sharp in reading, math, and writing during the summer months.

We swim two hours per day, twice a week.  We go to the movies and visit the public library weekly.  Also, a number of field trips have been planned to go along with our weekly themes.

As you can see, our Creative Kidz bodies and minds are “on the go” every day.

We hope that you will join us,
